Always look for helpers…

….because in times of need, or trouble or despair you can look around and find people helping according to Fred Rogers, known to generations as the sweatered, shoe-changing Mr. Rogers who relentlessly asked in song each morning “won’t you be my neighbor?” While some of us may find days darkened with dreary news of violence and political unrest world-wide, Mr. Rogers would remind us to see the good in each other. He would encourage us to celebrate our differences. Why not embrace new neighbors and learn from their culture?

Kinda Limited at ACL 2015

Unlike years past when music festivals were a true band reunion draw…or at least the line-up was so economically worthwhile you’d be a fool to pass it up, Austin City Limits was hum drum this year. Of course several bands still gave outstanding and memorable performances. Among those were Billy Idol, Modest Mouse, Deadmau5 and TV on the Radio.
